Our Brand
Maati is a play on the Greek word 'Mati', meaning eye. The brand draws inspiration from the 'Evil Eye' amulet that provides protection to all its wearers.
Maati is an 100% Australian owned contact lens brand established by Sydney based Optometrists Michael Mihailidis and Maria Dimitratos with over 30 years experience in the optical industry. They own a practice located in Hurstville and are well known in the community for dedication to providing excellent eyecare. Maati is a result of their constant drive to provide only the best for their patients.
All Maati lenses are TGA approved and have been certified from its manufacturers to be completely free from fluoropolymers, also known as 'forever chemicals'.
